Dr. Burns has achieved
double board certification in plastic surgery and also in general
surgery.
A seventh generation Texan and native of San Antonio,
he attended college at Texas Lutheran University and medical school
at Texas
Tech University.
He then completed
nine years of postgraduate surgical training, completing residencies
in general surgery and then plastic surgery.
